The social media guru is now an industry classic. Probably based on real life experiences it shows a social media "guru" selling his wares to a frazzled communications bod. I love it. As social media is hyped right now it deserves some beautiful satire. But eventually hype dies down and the real benefits emerge, that's my belief and as the satire creators get better (hi @amandachapel) the real life case studies get clearer. "Create a Facebook page" or build a "corporate blog" become tools that may or may not be part of a proper communications strategies.
